The design of the sculpture was inspired by Arizona’s distinctive monsoon cloud formations, and by saguaro flowers and boots (which form inside the cactus). When I first started thinking about a blog in 2016, I knew I needed a good name. I wouldn’t commit to actually jumping in until the PERFECT name came along. I wanted the blog to not reflect who I am now because that will change over the years.
